Minor Defects Program

Modified on Wed, 18 Feb at 12:43 PM

Many companies dispose of returned or imperfect products due to material constraints or outdated firmware. We think that's wasteful. Minor Defects are our way of keeping things in motion — think of it like pottery brands selling "seconds." Slightly imperfect, sold at a discount, and still fully functional.

What counts as a Minor Defect?

Minor Defect products may have one or more of the following cosmetic imperfections:

  • Small scratches — these can happen during manufacturing, part transportation, or assembly
  • Small dents — often caused by accidental drops during assembly or fulfillment
  • Small particles under the coating — sometimes small particles get trapped under our protective coating during application

Each listing describes the specific imperfection present, so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy.

What's not affected?

Minor Defect products are fully functional. The imperfections are cosmetic only and do not affect performance.

Are Minor Defect items covered by warranty?

Yes — Minor Defect products are covered by our standard 5-year limited warranty for any functional issues. The cosmetic imperfections described at the time of purchase are not covered, as these are disclosed and reflected in the discounted price.

Can I return a Minor Defect item?

Minor Defect items are final sale and cannot be returned for cosmetic reasons. If you experience a functional issue, please contact us and we'll help you with a warranty claim.
